PSSI do sell economy pistons for occasional use such as inflating tyres, but we always warn the economy compressors should be regarded as disposable.

• Cast iron cylinders – robust
• Long stroke and slow running – longer life
• 70% duty cycle (say 7 mins on, then 3 off)

These compressors are built in the UK and ideal for providing low-cost backup for a screw or vane compressor used in demanding applications where air is needed 24/7.
